Right next to the beach and sea front promenade with free on street parking and a really good selection of restaurants, bars, cafes, supermarkets and shops etc. within very close walking distance. It being November & December it...read moreWe really enjoyed our stay, the apartment was perfectly located right by the beach. It being November & December it gets cold in the evenings and we really appreciated the Aircon heating. The apartment was just as described and just like the photos and was very clean. Helia was a perfect host, so friendly and helpful. The only negative we had (which would be the case in much of the Algarve and isn't specific to here but worth mentioning) is that at some times parking was tricky. We always found a spot, but occasionally it was a little walk which we didn't mind. It was off peak season, so I thought if you were to come in summer this may be an issue keeping in mind. However, in winter it is fine if you don't mind a few mins walk. The price was very reasonable and we would definitely stay again if we visited this beautiful part of the world again. The location was perfectly tucked along the boardwalk but still remains private and feels safe during the nighttime. The building and unit are both code locked, so no need to keep track of keys- which is extremely convenient if doing a beach day or grocery run. There is an intermarche directly across the building, a Lidl a few blocks away, and a continente within an easy ten min walk.
We had a car rental and didn’t have any trouble finding parking outside the building, while Albufeira and Portimao were easy drives in either direction.
The unit itself was immaculate- very efficient use of space and you can tell how much thought and effort Helia puts into her rentals. It was seriously beautiful and you have sea views right from your private terrace.
During our stay, there was unexpected construction inside the building, but Helia immediately purchased white noise machines to help make our stay completely comfortable.
If I could give this stay 10 stars, I absolutely would! Thank you so much and we look forward to staying again!read less
